A new layout, luxe finishes and chic furnishings gave a dated condo a fresh start
The main move was to the living spaces. We removed two walls in the kitchen and two in the sunroom. We opened everything up and made it open concept.

A designer elevates life on the farm in a barn conversion
A fresh, open living space occupies what used to be the second storey of the barn. Winter-white chairs in bouclé invite day reading, thanks to the room’s bask-worthy natural light. “The furniture shapes mimic the geometry of nature,” says designer Amanda Richardson. Glass walls with a black metal grid define the spaces, block sound and keep the apartment feeling open.

A concrete loft to create a high-impact family home brimming with personality
She envisioned it as an inviting backdrop for her bevy of vintage and modern pieces, as well as artwork (she is also the co-founder of Duende Curation, an online art gallery). Jennifer’s design retune of the loft was minimal – she painted both bedrooms and a bathroom – but her styling was maximal, and very personal, to say the least.
