Primitive Tools

A slew of Midland projectile points from the Great Plains. Longest point is 2.4 inches long. An amateur archaeologist named Keith Glasscock discovered the Scharbauer site southwest of Midland, Texas. He had found human bone and a slew of Folsom and unfluted Folsom points. Archaeologist Fred Wendorf investigated the site and at first called the points unfluted Folsoms, but eventually named them Midland points. Age is between 10,700 and 10,200 years old.
