Fairy Tales are great for teaching story language, sequencing, and story elements. Write the Room is a fun activity to move about the room while learning common vocabulary found in fairy tales. How many cards are included? This set has 24 cards in color and is repeated in line art for an ink saving option. Is a recording sheet provided? Yes, there are two versions, one with pictures and another with numbered spaces. Both versions are a two page format with twelve answers to a page. You can choose to just do twelve cards or copy the pages front and back to do all 24. Can this be used as a center? For traditional Write the Room, cards are placed around the room and students walk around and record vocabulary. It can be used for a literacy center in this way, or the cards can be displayed on a word wall or in a pocket chart in your writing center to help with fairy tale story writing.
