Victorian Drawers

The White treadle sewing machine drawer pull is a carved shell which overhangs a hollow in the face of the drawer. It is affixed simply by being glued to the surface of the drawer. By overhanging the shallow recess, it's easy to open the drawer. Having lasted over a hundred years, validates it's successful design.
