In April of 1897, a cigar-shaped UFO reportedly crashed near Aurora, Texas, damaging a windmill and leaving debris scattered across several acres. The pilot's body was recovered from the wreckage, and the local newspaper made a startling claim: the pilot was "not an inhabitant of this world."
