Explora Muitas Ideias, My Mark e outros!

thor_mark  posted a photo: I got the idea for this image from this Flickr capture (www.flickr.com/photos/irene2727/27450548901/in/dateposted/ ) not long before heading out for my trip out west to Saguaro National Park. What I loved about the original image posted was the seemingly wide open spaces one could take in and the mountains as a backdrop. Luckily, I was able to chat with that photographer who gave many a good idea on places to explore and hike on both sides of the national park…

This idea of sin is nothing more than living from a place of lack. __ Whether you believe in a higher power or not if you look at the story of Adam and Eve its apparent that even humans of old understood this concept. In my opinion the idea of sin if often misinterpreted. Many religions will see humans as being born with a sin nature. In some sense this is true but its the ego that lies to us. If you look at the story of Adam and Eve before they ate from the tree of knowledge they already…

Been doing a lot of thinking lately about ways I can influence positive change in my community. There are many ways that my work intersects with my politics (my efforts to move towards a no-waste studio donating a percentage of profits to charities collaborating with other women-owned businesses) but I want to make an effort to do more and to boost the signal of other women's voices on important topics. This quote felt like a good way to mark my commitment to doing more. Happy weekend…

thor_mark  posted a photo: I've gotten the idea for this image on Flickr (www.flickr.com/photos/133889319@N04/27565254186/in/galler... ). While I've had a compass with me on many a trip, I never thought about using it for the purpose like that person did in his image. So there I was walking in Saguaro National Park, and it dawned on me to pull out my Silva compass and try to find something that might have that desert like feel in that national park. I tried different angles and decided…

I hope you enjoyed the previous post on the average cost of mobile app development. I enjoyed reading and replying to your feedback. This post will be on a Mental Health app I am currently working on. The types of mental health problems that it covers is vast. - Many people including a few of my friends suffer from anxiety / panic attacks / depression / anger issues / self esteem / self-harm / sleep problems / stress / suicidal feelings / it goes on... Maybe you can relate? - One girl I know…

This painting marks the new era of my personal art. It carries the idea of a kaleidoscopic world, which consists of a million little pieces connected and making a beautiful and always different pattern. At the same time it conveys the idea of multiple egos, something that I was so obsessed with after reading V. Pelevin’s books (it supposes that a person doesn’t really have any ego – just many of them replacing one another). Gorgeous and great person Bunny Meyer (grav3yardgirl) is my...

Just a few miles east of my home offers views that many in these parts would have liked to keep the secret to themselves. Oaks and vines and pastures as far as the eye can see leading up to foothills of gold country Clements Hills is as peaceful and full of promise as any wine region I've traveled. The weather station here logs slightly cooler than the world renown Caymus & Rutherford bench areas of which touts arguably the finest Bordeaux style production out of California. The idea behind…

This week, among my many other projects which need to get done – I need to take about 15-20 minutes to make some Garden Markers. I have rows of radishes and carrots and cauliflower and onions and….well, you get the idea, and they are roughly marked with the seed packet stuck in the ground. Not …

thor_mark  posted a photo: One of many stops along the Cactus Forest Scenic Loop Drive. What I was trying to find for this image was that point that just looked across this desert landscape, but I knew I'd need a high point along the road to capture that. My idea was to angle my camera slightly downward, raising the desert floor above the middle before it came to the mountains. The far-off peaks would then be higher in the image and allow for a more complete vista-like view.
