Himba Woman - the Himba people are semi-nomads living in Northern Namibia, in the Kunene region (formerly Kaokoland) and on the other side of the Kunene River in Angola.

Miss Mucaniama, Himba tribe Angola. Himba women are famous for covering their body and hair with a paste made of butter, ochre (hematite powder) and ashes, called otjize, which is supposed to protect them from the sun and the insects.
