Flat White ($3.40) from Arcadia, Gertrude St, Fitzroy. My take? I suggest you go to the next door for the coffee (read: De Clieu). Brunch: Mexican eggs and lemon ricotta hotcakes. Both were huge serving but bland taste. A lot of reviews said about the bad service but we were catered very nice that day.
Saffron Sky - Hyde Park, Adelaide | 10/6/13 | Coffee = 6, Service = 7, Atmosphere = 6. Overall I give it a 6 out of 10. The coffee was OK but nothing to write home about. It's a nice little cafe located on King William Road and in addition to coffee they have a range of homewares available for sale that you can browse whilst enjoying your coffee which is a nice touch. Atmosphere is quite relaxed but just doesn't quite have that "funky" cafe feel.
Hyde Park Grocers - Hyde Park, Adelaide | 8/6/13 | The cafe is setup in their gourmet grocery store and has surprisingly good coffee. Coffee = 6, Atmosphere = 6, service = 8. Mahalia Coffee Beans are used and they are roasted locally in SA at Robe. #adelaide #coffee
Duthy Street Deli Cafe - Parkside, Adelaide | 10/6/13 | Coffee = 8, Service = 7, Atmosphere = 7, Food = 8. Overall I give it a 8 out of 10. They use Tony D'Angelo coffee beans roasted locally in Adelaide, very smooth coffee! Scrambled eggs with tomato and rocket was really good. This cafe is definitely up there with the best in Adelaide and I will be a regular!
Origin Espresso - Port Douglas, Qld | 3/6/13 | This place was the cream on the top of a great Port Douglas holiday! The coffee was great (including an excellent iced coffee served up in an old Jar) and a perfect enviro to relax whilst on holidays. 9 out of 10 for coffee.
