Early yesterday morning, after a nearly 16 month pregnancy, “Kalu,” an 11 year old Indian one horned Rhinoceros, gave birth at Zoo Miami. This is her baby.

Two horns up! 9-week old greater one-horned rhino calf, Parvesh, recently made his debut at the Safari Park with his mother Alta. His name means “lord of celebration” in Hindi, and he's already approaching 300 pounds. Help us welcome him.
