Body image is taught, and society seems to want to accept only the "perfect" images presented to us by the media, Hollywood, etc. Women's rights have advanced so far over the last century, you'd think this issue would've taken care of itself. Why hasn't it?!
I want to see real women in advertisements. I want to see diversity and bodies that have fought, conquered and embraced life. We still live in a society where seeing real images of women is shocking. We need more images of real beauty. We need these images because we are still fighting to feel good in our own skin.

Positive body image is not promoted enough. Instead the media promotes the unattainable "perfect" woman. Instead of striving to be something we're not, we should learn to appreciate ourselves the way we are. Learning to accept your body for its' flaws will only make you feel better about yourself and that positivity will begin to reflect on other aspects of your life.
