Hard to find late 70s or early 80s Gunne Sax dress for the Romantic Renaissance Bridal Collection designed by Jessica McClintock. It has an almost Victorian look, with a lovely intricate front finished with pearl buttons. It also zips up the back and has a satin under skirt, so it will not be sheer.I actually have two of these both from the same estate sale, so they belonged to the same family. They are two different sizes, so I am guessing they were either Brides maids dresses or bought for an event, not knowing which would fit best. This one is altered, they removed the sash, which were simple cloth, same material as the dress.In very good vintage condition it is missing one of the front pearl buttons (see close up). Should be easy to replace.
