Ommegang Nirvana is a 6.5 ABV 60 IBU AIPA. Appearance is hazy light orange and the nose citrusy and sweet malt. The palate is well balanced AIPA with sweet malt and light tropical fruit hop. Ommegang's wheelhouse may be big Belgians but they nailed this AIPA, with a crisp but creamy texture, fresh hop presence, and utmost drinkability. Hop package includes Bravo, Simcoe, Centennial, Topaz, and Mosaic and dry-hopped with Centennial, Citra, Simcoe and Amarillo. A well done AIPA.
Beer / Pint Glass. Great use of half tones, detail, and only 3 colors.
