The blowhole at Dún na mBó is one of Ireland's most famous: a deep, wave-splashed tunnel burrowed by fierce Atlantic water up through sheer rock, from the sea right to the cliff-top. Apart from its huge size, what makes Dún na mBó particularly special is the sculpture nearby: designed by American artist, Travis Price, it is dedicated to all those whose lives have been lost off the Erris Coast, County Mayo.
Rather than being grumpy at the weather- why don't we take a second to admire it? And think that while we may not like it, there are many creatures who do. Many plants that enjoy the rain or trees that yearn for heat to stop the rot that creeps up their trunk... Just think about it.
