For Your Inspiration: Real Rooms in Pantone's Colors of the Year
This year color giant Pantone decided to shake things up and give us not one, but two colors of the year. Their choices are Rose Quartz, a lovely light pink (ok, we kind of called that one), and Serenity, a cool, surprisingly elusive shade of blue. To get in the spirit of things, we went on a hunt for real-life rooms that feature these trending shades.
Pantone's Color(s) of the Year, Serenity Blue, is a lovely shade to use as the main hue at a relaxing afternoon soiree. Purchase macarons in a light blue shade. (These are flavored with Earl Grey and mint chocolate chips.) Then use coordinating tea towels and fancy teacups for a Parisian-inspired event.
We have been going to the list of Pantone's 10 Spring 2016 colors, and this week we're introducing this romantic hue, Serenity.
