Robert McGinnis (born 1926) is known for his illustrations of over 1200 paperback book covers, and over 40 movie posters, including Breakfast at Tiffanys (his first film poster assignment), Barbarella, and several James Bond films.’ Taken from How to be a retronaut.
Robert McGinnis is one of my all time favorite illustrators! He usually uses gouache on board (like a pro) and his subjects mostly involve women (most of the time missing some clothes). I envy the fact that he can not only paint the female figure, but that he can paint feet! If you grew up watching the James Bond movies during the 60's and 70's you'll recognize that he illustrated the James Bond posters.
