How To: Make a Vinyl Bowl

How to make bowls out of vinyl-records. Put the oven on 100 degrees celsius, put the record on top of another bowl (which should be upside down) and keep it in there for about 5 minutes. Take it out, put it in another (or the same) bowl, and make the shape you want. Cool it down, and there you go! However, you should not keep food thats not wrapped in it.

The Lumineers - S/T LP

Framing records and hanging them on the walls is a good way to cover your walls and display your music taste at the same time!

i love this little hipster record nook w/ the freestanding ashtray

Re-purposed vinyl! There are no directions and the blog is in Italian (I think) so here's what I could tell after blowing up the pic. 1. Pour hot water into sink (probably close to boiling) at the same height you want to bend the record. 2. Gently begin to bend the vinyl as it gets hot. 3. Quickly set record on a flat surface to make sure it's level. 4. Use as a bookend.
