How to Seed a Pomegranate

HOW TO SEED A POMEGRANATE Step 1: Cut off the pomegranate’s crown. Score the skin into sections, cutting where the membrane is thickest (this will minimize damage to the seeds). Step 2: Submerge the pomegranate in a bowl of water and gently pry it open into sections. Still working under the water, remove the internal membranes and gently pull out the seeds. The seeds will sink to the bottom of the bowl; the membranes will float to the surface.
