Simone de Oliveira, born on February 11th, 1938, is a Portuguese singer and actress. Best known for her song “Desfolhada” (vide video) at the Eurovision Song Contest, in 1969, is also known for her a true, strong hard-working woman personality, whose presence in stage is one of a kind. She is a straight-forward speaker, who doesn’t show any problem in saying what she thinks; she speaks from her heart. She also is a breast cancer survivor.
