"House Solvay" -One of many Art Nouveau town houses created by Horta. Commissioned by Armand Solvay, the son of the wealthy Belgian chemist & industrialist Ernest Solvay. Horta was granted unlimited freedom of creation, & spent a fortune on precious materials & details. He designed everthing including the furniture.
