Bast - The Cat Goddess Many of you are probably familiar with Bast, the Egyptian Feline Goddess. You may also know her by Bastet, Pasch, Ubasti, Ba en, Aset, Ishtar among many other names of this beautiful Goddess. She is known as the Goddess of protection, passion, fire, fertility, dance and music and has been worshipped since at least the Second Dynasty.. Ancient Egyptians often worshipped cats as deities and Bast was one of the most popular ones.

Brigid.. She is a healer, a mother, a gardener (of apples and herbs), a poetess, a midwife, a protector of children and livestock and a very sympathetic deity to the plights of her followers. A fire goddess. A giver of light and warmth but like fire.... volatile. A goddess that carries a hammer and commands the power of the flame, is not one that you want to upset.

HEKATE (or Hecate) was the goddess of magic, witchcraft, the night, moon, ghosts and necromancy. She was the only child of the Titanes Perses and Asteria from whom she received her power over heaven, earth, and sea.
