Another ring featuring a stone cut from the 'Queen of Dushanbe' 495ct Tajikistan Pink Spinel rough. This ring features a 3.07 Pink Spinel, cut by John Bailey in a modified Portuguese Round design. Accented by 0.06ct of fine white diamonds, nestled at the top of the prongs holding the main stone. The spinel has a few very light inclusions not visible to the naked eye. The stone is full of life and is the most luscious vivid pink associated with the finest pink spinel.
This ring features an extremely rare Demantoid garnet, 1.76ct, of Afghan origin from Kunar province. I personally cut this stone, using a modified Portuguese round cut (design by US Master Cutter John Bailey). Accenting this classic ring are 2 fine quality 0.24ct diamonds, G colour, VS1-2 clarity.
