Olive Thomas (1894 - 1920) Silent film actress & Ziegfield girl. She was one of the first "Flappers" in Hollywood. Remembered today for being married to Jack Pickford and dying under very mysterious circumstances at 25 years of age, after accidentally consuming mercury bichloride. Thomas' death has been cited as one of the first heavily publicized Hollywood scandals.
