Oyama Magnolia (Magnolia sieboldii), an excellent small tree magnolia of 10-15 ft. Exceptionally fragrant flowers are white, cup shaped with crimson stamens. Truly the "ideal" magnolia for any home garden. Begins blooming in May, and then sporadically throughout the season.
Easter Lily Vine, Heralds Trumpet (Beaumontia grandiflora); Large glossy leaves with fragrant flowers from late spring to summer. Can be grown as a climber or medium sized shrub. Plant in containers in a warm sheltered position in full sun. Pleasant cologne-like fragrance, mild but stronger than the moonflower vine's.
