Mr. Nobody (2009) - Beautiful. Toby Regbo's poignant portrayal as the adolescent Nemo Nobody is mesmerizing. Scene of Nemo caring for/bathing his father (Ifans) was masterful. Simple, not a word uttered, yet powerfully evocative. Nemo's forlorn expression read standing at threshold of adulthood / responsibilities knowing there's no going back.
"The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still." Exodus 14:14 Can you be still when everything in you wants to act out? "Stand firm and you will see the deliverance the Lord will bring you today." EX14:13 (H.R.)
Mister Rogers- “When I say it’s you I like, I’m talking about that part of you that knows that life is far more than anything you can ever see or hear or touch. That deep part of you that allows you to stand for those things without which humankind cannot survive. Love that conquers hate, peace that rises triumphant over war, and justice that proves more powerful than greed.”
“He is capable of turning everything into anything―snow into skin, skin into blossoms, blossoms into sugar, sugar into powder, and powder back into little drifts of snow―for all that matters to him, apparently, is to make things into what they are not, which is doubtless proof that he cannot stand being anywhere for long, wherever he happens to be.” ― Robert Musil, The Man Without Qualities // A white way by Makoto Saito
