At the Facility, the inner part where the kids live is surrounded by observation passages that are closed off from the rest of the outer Facility. The exit signs may or may not lead to actual exits from the building.
The private patient rooms feature fully glazed doors that were designed to improve staff observation of patients, bring daylight into the center of the ward, and help engage families in the care process.
