White Macaubas Quartzite is a completely natural stone that is about the same hardness of granite, but looks like marble. This means it can be cared for just like granite, while giving the kitchen the elegance of marble. It has a translucent white/gray background with playful gray/ blue veining. It is quarried in Brazil.

The African American Civil War Memorial - at the corner of Vermont Avenue, 10th St, and U Street NW in Washington, D.C., commemorates the service of 209,145 African-American soldiers and sailors who fought for the Union in the United States Civil War. The complex is located at the eastern entrance to the U Street Metro station. The memorial was developed by the African American Civil War Memorial Freedom Foundation and Museum.
