Not only does she stand 3.27 metres high and weigh 2.5 tonnes, but she displays the most exquisite collection of very high quality natural Amethyst crystals! The Hoba meteorite is the largest known meteorite on Earth, it’s also the single largest piece of naturally occurring iron weighing in at around 60 tons. In terms of actual size it measures 2.7 metres by 2.7 metres (8 feet 9 inches) by 0.9 metres (3 feet). It’s believed to have touched down some 80,000 years ago in modern day Namibia and was only discovered in 1920 after the owner of the land ran over it with his plow.
