Shell Covered Vase

Shell covered vase is handmade vintage. The clear glass vase has a shell design that has been made by gluing shells on a guaze-like mesh material. There are areas that the shells are missing revealing the guaze material glued to the vase(see pictures). No chips or cracks in the glass that I can see. Some of the shells are broken. I think there is a clear coating over the shells. The bottom shows the gauze glued on. There is a black spot on the bottom. 6 inches tall.
