Ivan Mihaylovich Haritonov, the Romanov family cook who voluteered to stay in Tobolsk with Nikolay II's family and was executed along with them. Haritonov was an orphan and a self-made man: he was educated in Paris, then entered Russian Imperial fleet and later was taken to the court of Nikolay II. Being in exile Haritonov taught OTMA to bake bread.
Fabergé double frame brooch, workmaster Mikhail Perchin, with a pair of oval miniatures of Peter, Duke of Oldenbourg in regimental uniform and Grand Duchess Olga, probably executed at the time of their marriage held on August 9, 1901. Mounted in gold, bordered with rose cut diamonds. Above, linking the two miniatures is a lover's knot set with rose cut diamonds, and below this one cabochon ruby. At bottom another cabochon ruby, with four small diamonds set below it, links the two miniatures.
