Pasta w Clams: 24-48 littleneck clams, scrubbed; 12 oz pasta; 1/4 c olive oil;1/4 tsp red pepper flakes; sliced garlic. Steam clams in covered pot. Don’t add liquid. boil pasta. After clams open, cool. Take meat out, strain and reserve liquid. 1/4 cup olive oil in skillet over medium. When oil is warm, add red pepper/garlic, cook for about 30 seconds. Add clams for about a minute. Add 1/2 cup of reserved clam liquid. stir pasta w the clams until saucy. Add more clam liquid/white wine.
