Carbonated drink made with primitive methods - A large rock, grass and pottery Nice to know that our ancestors could have enjoyed some carbonated brew with a simple setup so it's possible that ancient beers were carbonated and not flat using very primitive methods.

Amazonian snail with tapioca and fresh turmeric, best thing I've eaten in a long time.

Making some wild beer (mugwort, grass, forest leaves) with insect sugar (sugar lerps) as a base. It's the second time I do it, the resulting beer is very much like a sour Belgian beer with a low alcohol level (3 percent maybe). What I like about this beer is the fact that it is completely made with the local wilderness, from wild yeast (Juniper berries) to plants and sugar. I don't need to purchase anything, it's completely foraged. Via Pascal Baudar and Girl Meets Bug
