Her parents, King Fuad I of Egypt and Queen Nazli, commissioned it from Van Cleef & Arpels for Fawzia’s 1939 wedding to Mohammad Reza Pahlavi, the Crown Prince (and later Shah) of Iran. Cartier made this Diamond Olive Wreath Tiara for Princess Marie Bonaparte in 1907. Designed as a series of diamond olive leaves, meeting together at the front with a large suspended pear-shaped diamond. This version of it has diamond fruits or berries within it, though these can be exchanged for emeralds and rubies. This piece was sold in 1999, and is now with Albion Arts, Japan. From Prussia to Greece to Spain.  The Prussian or Hellenic Tiara was made by Koch of platinum and diamonds for Princess Viktoria Luise of Prussia as a gift from her father Kaiser William II.  The princess married Ernest of Hanover, and their daughter Frederika married King Paul of Greece and brought the tiara with her.
