a bathroom with a tile floor and white washer in the corner next to it
The last 2rows of tile had 2b torn up to do a repair. I noticed if I took one more row,it ended right at the archway. I saved broken tile, got free broken tile from flooring store, & purchased the center medalion & one shet of matching tile cubes, which I cut to make the two rows of brown border. I lucked out! It was hard work, being all crunched up in a corner, making every single piece fit as well as I could (didnt want huge grout lines) and for about $50, I avoided re-doing the whole floor.

Four bedrooms in this hacienda are made accessible through this long gallery hallway. The flooring is a combination of Manganese Saltillo Tiles. Part of the hallway has 6x12 Herringbone pattern that is framed with a 6x12 perimeter. Under the vaulted ceiling is Fleur de Lis tile pattern. The transition spaces are an efficient use of broken and cut tile to create a tile mosaic border. Top it all off with a glossy Mexican tile sealer. NIches are outline with Pinon Cantera Stone surrounds.
