👋 Meet Lilla Rugs this October. We'll be at Decorex 2024, showcasing our favourite rugs from our collection alongside some of the finest names in interior design.⁠ ⁠ Camilla, the founder of Lilla Rugs, is known for her approach to rug hunting and will be on hand to personally recommend the perfect rug for your project. ⁠ ⁠ Decorex runs from 6th - 9th October, save the date in your diary and visit us at stand E32. We've got an incredible team of restorers who know everything there is to know about handmade rugs. 🫧 It's worth booking in a bit of TLC (a professional rug clean!) every 3-5 years so that they last for generations to come. ⁠ ⁠ It all starts with a consultation to establish the level of cleaning needed and any repair required. Restoring rugs with a story. ✨

Handmade rugs are for a lifetime and beyond.⁠ So much love goes into a handwoven rug, they are usually incredibly durable and can last hundreds of years. At times they may need some TLC and that's when our talented team reweaves and restores. ⁠ Some see it as a 'rug' but when someone gets in touch from a Grade 1 Tudor Manor asking if we can fix damage to a rug that's been in the home for hundreds of years - this rug has its own story and deserves careful restoration to add years to its life.

We'd say overlooking quality and craftsmanship is up there with the biggest mistakes. Handmade rugs vary significantly so we always recommend researching so you understand why there may be a big cost difference between two rugs from the same region, or two of the same size.⁠ ⁠ There are many ways that rugs may vary, such as materials used, the type of weave or the intricacy of the design, so we've popped together a guide with a HEAP of info about all our collections and what makes them unique.
