Daniela Maschera - use of various fabrics. The way that Maschera has manipulated and sewn the fabric into a certain pattern is interesting as it exerts power over the piece and causes a sense of uncontrolled motion onto the textile work.

A piece of red foil wrapping paper which has been ironed between two pieces of baking paper. It crumples up to make fascinating patterns and can be stitched or painted over. You can also do this with crisp packets.
