One of the more notorious tuners of the 1990s was Koenig Specials. Known for custom body parts and conversion-kits, Koenig had created some truly outrageous show cars. It is hard to decide which was their most radical car, but this road going version of Porsche’s 962 prototype race car has to be up there. Koenig’s C62 is technically a conversion based on original Porsche 962 chassis. Koenig punched out the three liter version of the boxer engine to produce more low end torque.
