Winter pebble art

Make a cute DIY christmas tree decoration for wall, wreath, or centerpiece with snowman, painted rocks and acrylic paints on canvas.

This adorable wall hanging was made by me from pebbles collected along Lake Ontario, and along the shores of the Finger Lakes in New York State. This piece is constructed from a wooden frame and canvas panel measuring 8” by 10” with a depth of 2”. It has a saw tooth hanger on the back for mounting on the wall, and can sit on a shelf. The pebbles and the wood have been painted with acrylic craft paints. The stones are then sprayed with a sealant. I used fabric-covered wire for the ornament…
