The November SFYTT Is Here!

Hi everyone!! Happy Saturday! It's the first Saturday of the month, which means a new SFYTT Sketch! Take a gander at the November SFYTT, pretty fab no? This month, the SFYTT Sisters are sponsored by the one, the only Verve! Sigh...I LOVE Verve. Like, L.O.V.E. Verve. I wish there were more time in the day to ink up the OODLES of Verve sets in my collection. I have SO many Verve sets that have yet to see ink, so you can except to see lots of Verve creations with this sketch this month…

September 2015

Hello again! Fall has started and I am getting out all my fall and halloween stamp sets. I love this time of the year. The only thing that I will miss is the longer days. Soon, it will be dark when I leave for work and dark when I get home. I will only see my house in the daylight on the weekend. I watercolored the witch image from the Birdie Brown set, Which way is the Candy? I used my Zig markers and water colored the image. The background was done with Distress inks instead of the Zig. I…

Wisteria Peace

Happy Saturday, friends! Today I'm popping in with another card using the Mojo Monday 200 sketch! We'll be picking random winners from this week's participants to win some PRIZES, so if you haven't played along yet, you've got until Sunday night at 8pm Mountain! I started with the Play Date Cafe {PDCC91} color challenge of black/white and a splash of color in mind. I was also thinking of my Grandma, who left instructions that each of us would receive our birthday money right on schedule this…

Blessed and Comforted

Hi friends! Happy World Card Making Day. I'm hoping to hop into the studio later today while the boys are watching football to get my craft on! Hooray. In the meantime, I thought I'd share this card I made earlier this week inspired by the current inspiration at The Card Concept. My card doesn't have pumpkins, but the picture totally sent my mind to my new beloved Zella Teal papers. I love the neutrals with a pop of aqua and that fun lacey banner in the photo made me think of this lace I had…

Trustworthy Anchor

Click here or scroll down for my Diva Inspirations Hop post Hi friends! It's the first Friday of a new series of Viva la Verve sketches, and that means I'm on deck this week with a sketch + color challenge on the VLV Sketches Blog. My card uses the Strong Anchor set and coordinating Nautical Die Set, and I threw in the Starry Die and Scalloped Trim Trio Die Set for good measure! The stamping is all done in Midnight Muse and I kept wondering why it was looking so muted, then realized I had…

Viva La Verve Returns

It's a rainy Monday and I'm thrilled to see it! Grass is turning brown and flowers are looking rather pitiful, so I'm hoping this will revive everything a bit! To brighten things up in my crafty space, I've created a card for the returning Viva la Verve sketch challenge! This sketch was perfect for a retirement card for our pastor and his wife! I love these black and white prints in Bazzill's "Licorice" basics patterned paper pad and paired them with Reverse Confetti's Lime Green cardstock…
