My sons Solar System project for school. We used a 5 gallon water jug(bought from Wal-Mart) for space. Used Operated Battery lights(also bought from Wal-Mart) for bright stars. Rubber RacquetBalls, Small Foam Baseballs,(used for the planets) Medium Foam Ball (bought from Hobby Lobby) used for the sun. Painted with acrylic paint. To spell out Solar System we used Foam Alphabet Letters (bought from the baby section at Wal-Mart) hot glued those to the jug. =) We LOVE how this all came together!!
