Praying together

Almost every time before I preach God’s Word, Amy grabs my hands and lifts me before our God in prayer. Her faith blesses me. Her passion inspires me. Her consistency motivates me. When I’m preaching, I’m never alone. God’s Spirit is always with me and #mybride is always praying.

When asked about obstacles and barriers in his marriage, an Evangelical Christian husband mentioned pride, saying: "I think the inherent imperfections, that we all have, get in the way . . . . I think I lean probably more toward pride than I should, and that gets in the way. So, you know, some of these things that we have to keep working on."

Let's pray together! God is all-powerful and ever-present and he hears our prayers. We are encouraged to devote ourselves to prayer with an alert mind and a thankful heart in Colossians 4:2.
