Kelly layered Chalk Paint® colors Coco and French Linen. Next a tiny bit of color Old White. Touches of colors Coco and Graphite painted on the accent areas came next. Connor Sweeney | Furniture Flipper on Instagram: "Feeling a bit nostalgic with this chest since the first piece of furniture I ever flipped was also a storage chest 🥹 By an absolute stroke of luck I grabbed this Lane Cedar Chest (with original tags) on @facebookmarketplace for only $25 🍀 My inital plan was to sand the entire piece down and lighten the wood, but with my expertise I sanded right through the veneer 🤡 After some deliberatation I decided paint was the only option. For some added emphasis I DIY’d custom molding to add to the body 🎨 I then coated everything in a beautiful grey to bring some life back 🌬️ To modernize the baseboard I used my jigsaw to make sharper lines then went in with Milk Chocolate by @valsparpaint along with a glaze technique to add a faux wood finis Lane Chest Makeover, Refinished Cedar Chest Ideas, Lane Cedar Chest Makeover, Painting Veneer Furniture, Dresser Revamp, Painting Veneer, Cedar Chest Makeover, Bunkhouse Ideas, Hope Chest Makeover
