Have you ever used your sewing machine to overlock your fabric? Well now you can 🙌🏼

In this sewing tutorial I show you how to overlock the edge of your fabric to get a “mock overlocked” look.

The trick here is to sew as close as you can to the edge of the fabric, this allows you to pull off any loose threads to make it look overlocked. This sewing hack has come in super useful for me when working with fabric such as this cotton canvas, and is a great way to stop your fabric from fraying.

🦋However if you are going to work with knits and don’t have access to an overlocker, there are other alternatives such as a zig-zag stitch, or a stretch threads. 🦋
