Bruno Capolongo's "Kintsugi Dragons" merges ancient tradition with contemporary art, embodying the philosophy of kintsugi—the Japanese art of repairing broken pottery with gold. The intricate blue dragons, set against the deep blue hues of the plate, are given new life through the delicate gold veins, transforming the once-broken piece into a unique work of art.

Kintsugi (金継ぎ in Japanese) literally means “fixed with gold” and represents the beauty of imperfections. In Japan it's the idea of embracing the flaws and imperfections of something that was once broken to get an even stronger and more precious piece of art. As the scars tell the story of each of us, the gold repaired cracks tell the story of the broken pottery, an unrepeatable story which makes every object unique. #kintsugi #kintsugiart #ceramicsart #potteryart #potterybowl #ceramicart Kintsugi Art, Japanese Lacquerware, Japanese Philosophy, Japanese Tea Ceremony, Art Japonais, Japanese Pottery, Tea Bowls, Japanese Artists, Tea Ceremony
