Doing a Jedi outer tunic, I have always struggled with the “flare bottom” (or “skirt”). I have tried to follow a few tutorials, but the result never really matched my expect…

When altering B4294 for my Battlestar Galactica uniform a few years ago, I added princess seams in the front and darts in the back. I transferred this to the Jedi tunic, then, feeling it looked a bit too much like Luke, I added a skirt. This gave it too much an official Imperial feel, so I modified the collar and front closure a bit more. I ended up with an open neck with stand collar, and a much more angular closure.
