Cassandra Dias, California Vineyard Cassandra Dias has made changing career look easy. Having discovered embroidery on Instagram, she learned and practised the stitches, experimenting and developing an impressionist style of painting with thread. The vineyards, rivers and mountains of her native southern California were her inspiration – now she’s an expert embroiderer with her own impressive social media following.

UK-based artist Sew Beautiful creates breathtaking landscapes using only needle, thread, and occasionally some cotton-like balls of wool to make her artwork jump out of the hoop. Her vibrant and colorful embroidered sceneries look like paintings although no paint was used in the process. She doesn‘t have to look far for inspiration as living in the picturesque countryside results in the most incredible designs.
