Bird cards

Today's Sketch For this bird card, I stamped body in sky and wing in lagoon then sponged both using lagoon, popped her up. Die-cut 2 circles sponging them and adhering with foam tape. Added the white ferns and stamped leaves to mama's nest. I used 2 different texture plates, which create softer embossed images for the bg then added some pearls. I think this is my first time playing along with the TGIF Challenges. I really like this sketch. I started with the DSP called Bird Ballad. I layered it on the Daffodil Delight base and added the other design of paper banner I punched with the Triple Banner punch. This week, I had my 2 step bird punch out for some leaves - nothing rare in that! - and I found myself looking at the bird. I wondered whether it would make one of the thick, chipboard-style shapes I'm so fond of. todays F4A178 challenge called for lots & lots of dots... I think my card qualifies....fuzzy cut all the leaves and bird and arranged them on circle after putting card together... then added all the dots on the green cs... the dp also has dots....the inside of the card says "its your birthday".....
