By Angela Mombers: "My 1620s dress, after a drawing of Hendrick Avercamp, is aaaaalmost ready! The black silk arrived last Saturday so I could finally make the skirt. It's attached to the bodice with very tight cartridge pleats. Then the hemline is gathered and tucked in the waist of the petticoat. The petticoat is actually green, but you can't see it well on this photo. Now the only thing left is to starch the cuffs and hood, and then I am ready!" 1620s Fashion Women, 1620s Fashion, 17th Century Dresses, Hendrick Avercamp, 1600 Fashion, 17th Century Dress, History Dress, 17th Century Clothing, Elizabethan Fashion
