The statue was excavated in 1894 in the tomb of king Hor. This rare life-size wooden statue of king Hor Awibre has the hieroglyphic symbol for the ‘Ka’ two raised arms above his head, emphasizing its purpose. The king wears a tripartite wig that emphasizes his ears, and a long false beard. His eyes are made of bronze, rock crystal and white quartz, producing a very realistic effect. Ancient Egyptian symbols: Meaning and powers.. Goddess Wadjet
Bronze statuette of a cobra. The animal is depicted surmounting the top of a papyrus column and wearing a sun-disc on its head, which indicates that this is not just a cobra but a divine being, comparable to the uraeus which protected the pharaoh. The papyrus (wadj in Egyptian) often accompanies the snake as an emblem, in most cases indicating that she is the goddess Wadjet, the protective deity of Lower Egypt. Great care has been taken to decorate the body with exceptionally detailed markings.

Pharaoh's Symbols of Power: Golden Uraeus of Senusret II
The rearing cobra, known as a Uraeus, was a symbol of royalty, worn at the forehead. The Golden Uraeus is of solid gold, 6.7 cm (2.6 in), black eyes of granite, a snake head of deep ultramarine lapis lazuli, the flared cobra hood of dark carnelian inlays, and inlays of amazonite. For mounting on the pharaoh’s crown, two loops in the rear-supporting tail of the cobra provide the attachment points. Now in the Egyptian Museum, Cairo.
