1-Cult. CASMA / SECHÍN - Perú

The Casma-Sechín culture (Peru) has numerous sites in the valleys of the Casma river and its tributary to the Sechín river and along the Pacific coast. The main ones are Sechín Bajo, Sechín Alto, Cerro Sechín, Pampa de las Llamas-Moxeque (Moxeke), Chankillo and Taukachi-Konkan. Most of these are located in the valleys about 12 miles from the sea, where the Huaynuná and Las Haldas sites are located. The oldest carbon radio date found in Cerro Sechín dates back to 7600 BC.
