Made a gas strut conversion kit for the catflap (upper tailgate) of my Land Rover Series. The brackets are designed and laser cut to exactly match the shape of the original hinges from the catflap. No troubles or annoying mounting and unhooking with the metal stay brackets anymore. The door simply opens and closes by itself and stays open thanks to the gas struts. They even stay open whilst driving if you have to carry some long wooden boards. Next step: galvanizing or stainless steel versi...
